After falling down a staircase and shattering my left ankle, to developing severe arthritis in that ankle and eventually not being able to walk without pain, I found a gifted and compassionate Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Christian T. Royer of Orthopedic Associates of Dallas. He is giving me my life back by performing a STAR (Scandanavian Total Ankle Replacement) on May 4, 2011 at Baylor Hospital.
